As always， Freida McFadden delivered a fast-paced thriller that was easy to read and kept me guessing。 However， I found the MC’s indecisiveness a bit irritating and made the story jump all over the place。 The final twist and reveal didn’t make much sense and it didn’t feel believable。 Overall， it’s great for a quick thrill， but not her best work。 Thank you to NetGalley and Poisoned Pen Press for this copy in exchange for my honest review。

Oh Frieda。 Too drawn out。 Also why is she so good at creating unlikeable naive female characters？ Ok also there’s no way the prison would have let that bitch work there given her history ok haha 😆 just not plausible。 There are also some plot holes in this one but I’m too tired to get into it lol

Freida truly is one of the queens of twists and turns！ As usual， I saw some of them， but others I did not！！ 👏❤️I rated it 4。5 ⭐️， knocking a half star off solely because of the FMC。 Woman， don’t believe everything a man tells you！！！ 😂😂 She had a good heart， but man she was so gullible！ 🤦🏼♀️Definitely recommend this one to thriller fans！ The twists are worth it！！ ❤️
